App & SaaS Development for Business

Your own app.
Your own SaaS.

We build web services tailored to how you work, and apps for the App Store and Google Play.
One team handles it all: planning, development, store review and running it after launch.

We run our own products,
so we design for life after launch

We operate SaaS products and apps of our own, and take real payments for them.
Sign-ins that fail. Payment notifications that arrive twice. Apps stuck in review. We've run into these post-launch stumbles ourselves, so we build the answers into the design from the start.

One team, from planning on

The same team handles everything from sorting out requirements to design, development, testing and store submission. Nothing gets lost in hand-offs.

Payments and legal included

We handle subscriptions, one-time purchases and in-app purchases, and prepare the pages you need to launch, such as terms of use and a privacy policy.

Low fixed costs

We build on cloud services you pay for as you use them, so running costs stay small while your user base is still small.

Ideas

The kinds of projects we take on

Where we already run a similar system in our own services, that experience carries straight over.

Branded membership and point cards

Cards that go into Apple Wallet and Google Wallet, under your shop's or organization's name.

Getting people to explore events and towns

Stamp rallies and quiz rallies on phones alone, with no paper cards.

Internal admin work

Ledgers and stocktaking you run in Excel, moved onto a phone-and-web system.

Interactive tools for streams and live events

Viewers and attendees join from their phones, and the results appear on screen on the spot.

Booking and member management

Customers book on the mobile web; the shop checks bookings in an admin panel.

Camera, photo and video apps

From on-device editing features to AI-powered editing.

How we work

How we work

  1. Step 1

    We listen

We ask about the problem, who will use it, your budget and timing, and propose how to make it happen.

  2. Step 2

    Screens and scope

Looking at draft screen designs together, we separate what goes into the first release from what can wait.

  3. Step 3

    Build and check

We hand you something working early, and finish it while you try it out.

  4. Step 4

    Launch and operation

We stay on through store submission, switching payments over to live, and improvements after launch.

FAQ

Can we start small and add features later?

Yes. We recommend launching with only the features you need, then adding more as you see how it's used.

Can the app be published in the stores under our company's name?

Yes. We help with everything from registering as an Apple and Google developer to submission and review.

How much will payment fees and running costs be?

At the design stage, we put numbers on the expected payment provider and store fees and server costs.

Roughly how much does it cost, and how long does it take?

It varies widely with the number of features and whether it's an app or a web service. Tell us what you have in mind and we'll send you a quote.
