How the conversion works. Pick a start point in the video and up to three seconds from there become a Live Photo. Set it as your Lock Screen and it plays when you wake the device (iOS 17 and later).

Setting it as a wallpaper
iOS does not let an app change your wallpaper, so this last step happens outside the app. After saving, go to Settings > Wallpaper > Add New Wallpaper, or open the Live Photo in Photos and choose Share > Use as Wallpaper. It animates on the Lock Screen only. The support page walks through it.
About privacy
The conversion runs entirely on your device. We never collect, transmit or store your videos or photos. Access to your photo library and files is used only to load the source and save the result. The privacy policy has the full detail.
Get the app
Free to use. The free version adds a watermark to the output and shows a video ad before saving. The one-time "LiveConverter Pro" purchase removes both. It is not a subscription.
