バーチャルクロス(以下「当社」)は、当社が提供するアプリ「CassetteCam」(以下「本アプリ」)における利用者の情報の取り扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー(以下「本ポリシー」)を定めます。本ポリシーは、iPhone 版(App Store)と Android 版(Google Play)の両方に適用されます。両者で扱いが異なる点は、それぞれ明記します。
1. 撮った映像(テープ)の取り扱い
本アプリで撮った映像と、テープに書いたラベルは、利用者の端末の中(本アプリの保存領域)にだけ保存されます。当社が映像やラベルを収集・送信・保存することはありません。本アプリを削除すると、テープも削除されます。Android 版では、テープを端末のバックアップや機種変更時のデータ移行の対象にしていません。
映像が写真アプリ(写真ライブラリ)に保存されるのは、利用者が「ダビングして書き出す」を選び、保存を指示したときだけです。Android 版では、同じ操作をしたときだけ、端末のギャラリー(「Movies/CassetteCam」フォルダ)に保存されます。
本アプリが前面に表示されていないときは、アプリの切り替え画面などに画面の内容が映らないよう、画面をぼかして表示します(Android 版では、画面をアプリのロゴで覆います。Android 13 以降では、アプリの切り替え画面に本アプリの画面の内容を表示させません)。
2. カメラ・マイク・写真ライブラリ・ローカルネットワーク・付近のデバイスへのアクセス
- カメラ: 映像を撮るために使用します。
- マイク: 映像に音声を録音するために使用します。許可しない場合、映像は音声なしで録画されます。
- 写真ライブラリ: 書き出した動画を写真アプリに保存するために、追加のみの権限を使用します。本アプリが写真ライブラリにある既存の写真・動画を読み取ることはありません。
- ローカルネットワーク: 近くにいる人の端末とテープを手渡しするために使用します。
- 付近のデバイス(Android 版): 近くにいる人の端末を Bluetooth・Wi-Fi で見つけてつなぎ、テープを手渡しするために使用します。Android 12 以前では、この目的のために位置情報の権限を求めますが、本アプリが位置情報を取得・利用することはありません。
- ギャラリーへの保存(Android 版): 書き出した動画を保存するために、Android の標準の仕組みを使います。本アプリは端末に保存されている既存の写真・動画を読み取る権限を持たず、読み取ることもありません。
3. テープの手渡し
利用者がテープを近くの人に渡すと、そのテープの映像・ラベル・これまでテープを持っていた人の名前が、相手の端末へ直接送られます。通信は、iPhone 版では Apple の Multipeer Connectivity を、Android 版では Google Play 開発者サービスの Nearby Connections を使い、暗号化した状態で端末どうしの間だけで行います。当社のサーバーを経由することはありません。テープは iPhone どうし、または Android 端末どうしで渡せます(iPhone と Android 端末の間では渡せません)。
渡すとき・受け取るときに入力した名前は、近くで手渡しの画面を開いている端末に表示され、相手の端末にテープの持ち主の履歴として残ります。渡し終えたテープは、渡した側の端末から消えます。
4. App 内課金
本アプリでは、追加のテープを App 内課金で購入できます。決済は、iPhone 版では Apple が、Android 版では Google(Google Play)が行い、当社が支払方法などの決済情報を受け取ることはありません。購入したテープを二重に届けないよう、届け終えた購入の識別子を端末の中に記録します。
最初の1本の無料テープを配ったかどうかを記録するため、iPhone 版では端末のキーチェーンに、Android 版では Google Play 開発者サービスの Block Store(端末に小さなデータを残す仕組み)に印を保存します。これらの印や記録が当社に送られることはありません。

当社が独自にサーバーを設けて利用者の情報を収集・保存することはありません。本アプリに関して端末の外に出るのは、利用者が渡すことを選んだテープ(相手の端末へ)と、App 内課金のために Apple または Google が扱う情報だけです。
6. 第三者提供
当社は、法令に基づく場合を除き、利用者の情報を第三者に提供しません。
7. 当社が保有する情報と開示等の請求
当社は、本アプリに関して、利用者の個人データを当社のサーバー等に取得・保存していません。そのため、当社が開示・訂正・削除等の請求の対象となる保有個人データを保有することはありません。ご不明な点は下記の窓口にお問い合わせください。
8. 子どものプライバシー
本アプリは、子どもを主対象としたアプリではありません。

VirtualCross ("we") sets out below how information is handled in "CassetteCam" (the "App"), the application we provide. This policy applies to both the iPhone version (App Store) and the Android version (Google Play). Where the two differ, we say so.
1. Your footage (tapes)
Footage you shoot with the App, and the labels you write on your tapes, are stored only on your device (in the App's storage area). We never collect, transmit or store your footage or labels. Deleting the App also deletes your tapes. On Android, tapes are excluded from device backups and from data transfer to a new device.
Footage is saved to the Photos app (your photo library) only when you choose 「ダビングして書き出す」 (dub and export) and tell the App to save it. On Android, it is saved to your device's gallery (the "Movies/CassetteCam" folder) only when you do the same.
When the App is not in the foreground, it blurs its screen so that its contents do not appear in places such as the app switcher (on Android, it covers the screen with the App's logo, and on Android 13 or later it keeps its screen contents out of the recent apps screen).
2. Access to the camera, microphone, photo library, local network and nearby devices
- Camera: used to shoot footage.
- Microphone: used to record sound with your footage. If you do not allow it, footage is recorded without sound.
- Photo library: the App uses add-only access to save exported videos to the Photos app. The App never reads the photos and videos already in your photo library.
- Local network: used to hand tapes over to the devices of people near you.
- Nearby devices (Android): used to find and connect to the devices of people near you over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi to hand tapes over. On Android 12 or earlier, the App asks for location permission for this purpose, but it never obtains or uses your location.
- Saving to the gallery (Android): the App uses Android's standard mechanism to save exported videos. It has no permission to read the photos and videos already on your device, and never reads them.
3. Handing over a tape
When you hand a tape to someone nearby, the tape's footage, its label and the names of the people who have held it are sent directly to their device. This uses Apple's Multipeer Connectivity on iPhone and Nearby Connections from Google Play services on Android, encrypted, between the two devices only. It never passes through a server of ours. Tapes can be handed between iPhones or between Android devices (not between an iPhone and an Android device).
The name you enter when giving or receiving a tape is shown to nearby devices that have the hand-over screen open, and stays on the other device as part of the tape's history. Once handed over, the tape disappears from your device.
4. In-app purchases
You can buy extra tapes as in-app purchases. Payment is handled by Apple on iPhone and by Google (Google Play) on Android; we never receive payment details such as your payment method. So that purchased tapes are never delivered twice, the App records the identifiers of purchases it has delivered on your device.
To remember whether the free first tape has been given, the App stores a flag in your device's keychain on iPhone, and in Block Store from Google Play services (a way of keeping a small piece of data on the device) on Android. These flags and records are never sent to us.

We do not run a server of our own that collects or stores your information. The only things that leave your device in connection with the App are the tapes you choose to hand over (sent to the other person's device) and what Apple or Google handles for in-app purchases.

Except as required by law, we do not provide your information to third parties.
7. Information we hold, and requests for disclosure
We do not collect or store users' personal data on our servers or elsewhere in connection with the App. We therefore hold no retained personal data that could be the subject of a request for disclosure, correction, deletion or similar.
