Q. 1本のテープに何分録れますか？

1本5分です。録ったところは上書きも巻き戻しもできません。録画を止めても、次に録るときは同じテープの続きから記録します。5分を使い切ると、そのテープは「完成」になります。 Each tape holds 5 minutes. Anything you record can never be overwritten or rewound. When you stop and start again, recording continues from where the tape left off. Once all 5 minutes are used, the tape is finished.

Q. テープの入れ方がわからない

カメラ画面の「EJECT」を押すか、空のデッキの扉をタップすると、扉が開いて受け皿がせり上がります。入れるテープを選び、「PUSH」を押すと受け皿が沈み、テープがヘッドに巻き付きます。テープが入っているときに「EJECT」を押すと、テープが取り出されます。 Press 「EJECT」 on the camera screen, or tap the door of an empty deck: the door opens and the carriage pops up. Choose a tape, then press 「PUSH」; the carriage goes down and the tape wraps around the head. Pressing 「EJECT」 with a tape inside takes the tape out.

Q. 録画に音が入らない

マイクの利用を許可していない場合、映像は音声なしで録画されます。iPhone では「設定」アプリ >「CassetteCam」で、Android では端末の「設定」でアプリ「CassetteCam」の権限からマイクを許可してください。 If microphone access is not allowed, footage is recorded without sound. On iPhone, allow the microphone in Settings > CassetteCam; on Android, allow it in the permissions for the CassetteCam app in your device's Settings.

Q. 録画中の文字や日付を消したい

カメラ画面右上の「DISP」を押すたびに、すべて表示（ALL）→ 日付だけ（DATE）→ 表示なし（OFF）と切り替わります。 Each press of 「DISP」 at the top right of the camera screen switches between everything (ALL), date only (DATE) and nothing (OFF).

Q. スクラッチはどうやるの？

再生画面で、カセットから引き出されたテープを指で左右に動かします。動かした速さと向きに合わせて、映像と音がついてきます。「PLAY」で再生、「REVERSE」で逆再生、もう一度押すと一時停止します。 On the playback screen, drag the tape pulled out of the cassette left or right with your finger. The picture and sound follow the speed and direction of your finger. 「PLAY」 plays, 「REVERSE」 plays backwards, and pressing again pauses.

Q. ラベルを書きたい

再生画面の「LABEL」、またはライブラリでテープを長押しして「ラベルを書く」を選びます。手書き（ペン3色・太さ2種類）とタイプ（文字4種類）から選べます。ラベルはいつでも書き直せます。 Tap 「LABEL」 on the playback screen, or long-press a tape in the Library and choose 「ラベルを書く」 (Write label). You can handwrite (3 ink colours, 2 pen widths) or type (4 typefaces). Labels can be rewritten at any time.

Q. 撮った映像を写真アプリ（ギャラリー）に保存したい

再生画面の「DUB」、またはライブラリでテープを長押しして「ダビングして書き出す」を選びます。ダビングにはテープと同じ時間がかかりますが、「スキップして今すぐ書き出す」ですぐに書き出せます。書き出した動画は写真アプリに保存したり、送ったりできます。Android では「ギャラリーに保存」を押すと、端末のギャラリー（「Movies/CassetteCam」フォルダ）に保存されます。 Tap 「DUB」 on the playback screen, or long-press a tape in the Library and choose 「ダビングして書き出す」 (Dub and export). Dubbing takes as long as the tape, but 「スキップして今すぐ書き出す」 (Skip and export now) exports right away. You can save the exported video to the Photos app or share it. On Android, 「ギャラリーに保存」 (Save to gallery) saves it to your device's gallery (the "Movies/CassetteCam" folder).

Q. テープを友だちに渡したい

2台とも CassetteCam を開いて近づけてください。渡す人はライブラリでテープを長押しして「近くの人に渡す」、受け取る人はライブラリの「受け取る」を押します。両方の画面に同じ番号が出ていることを確かめてから渡してください。初めて使うときは、iPhone ではローカルネットワーク、Android では付近のデバイス（Android 12 以前は位置情報）の利用を許可し、Bluetooth と Wi-Fi をオンにしてください。テープは iPhone どうし、または Android 端末どうしで渡せます。iPhone と Android 端末の間では渡せません。 Open CassetteCam on both devices and bring them close. The giver long-presses a tape in the Library and chooses 「近くの人に渡す」 (Give to someone nearby); the receiver taps 「受け取る」 (Receive) in the Library. Check that both screens show the same number before handing over. The first time, allow access to the local network on iPhone, or to nearby devices on Android (location on Android 12 or earlier), and turn on Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Tapes can be handed between iPhones or between Android devices. They cannot be handed between an iPhone and an Android device.

Q. 渡したテープはどうなりますか？

渡したテープは相手のものになり、あなたの手元からは消えます。ライブラリにも何も残りません。もう一度見るには、相手から渡し返してもらってください。相手が撮った続きも一緒に戻ってきます。 A tape you hand over becomes the other person's, and it disappears from your device. Nothing of it stays in your Library. To see it again, ask them to hand it back; anything they recorded on it comes back too.

Q. テープを捨てたい

ライブラリでテープを長押しして「テープを捨てる」を選び、確認の画面で「捨てる」を押します。テープの中の映像も一緒に消え、捨てたテープは元に戻せません。残したい映像は、先に「ダビングして書き出す」で写真アプリに保存してください。デッキに入っているテープは、取り出してから捨ててください。 Long-press the tape in the Library, choose 「テープを捨てる」 (Throw away tape), then tap 「捨てる」 (Throw away) on the confirmation screen. The footage on the tape is deleted with it, and a thrown-away tape cannot be recovered. To keep the footage, save it to the Photos app first with 「ダビングして書き出す」 (Dub and export). Take a tape out of the deck before throwing it away.

Q. テープの色は選べますか？

選べません。どの色が届くかは、届いてからのお楽しみです。色は全15色で、1本ごとに出る確率はレインボー 0.01%、金 0.1%、銀 1%、ほかの12色が各8.24%です。確率はアプリの購入画面にも表示しています。 No. You find out which colour you got when the tape arrives. There are 15 colours; the chance for each tape is 0.01% rainbow, 0.1% gold, 1% silver and 8.24% for each of the other 12 colours. The odds are also shown on the purchase screen in the app.

Q. 料金はかかりますか？

アプリは無料で、最初の1本のテープも無料です。追加のテープは App 内課金で購入できます（2本・6本・10本のセット）。料金はアプリの購入画面に表示されます。サブスクリプションはありません。 The app is free, and so is your first tape. Extra tapes can be bought as in-app purchases (sets of 2, 6 or 10). Prices are shown on the purchase screen. There are no subscriptions.

Q. 機種変更・アプリを削除するとテープはどうなりますか？

テープは端末の中にだけあり、当社のサーバーには保存されません。アプリを削除すると、録ったテープも未使用のテープも消えます。端末のバックアップや機種変更時のデータ移行でも引き継がれません。新しい端末に移すときは、古い端末から新しい端末へテープを1本ずつ手渡ししてください（iPhone から iPhone、Android 端末から Android 端末）。残したい映像は、写真アプリ（ギャラリー）にも書き出しておくことをおすすめします。 Tapes exist only on your device and are never stored on our servers. Deleting the app deletes all your tapes, recorded or unused. Tapes are not carried over by device backups or by data transfer to a new device. To move to a new device, hand each tape over from the old device to the new one (iPhone to iPhone, or Android to Android). We also recommend exporting footage you want to keep to the Photos app or gallery.

Q. 購入したテープが届かない・返金したい

まずアプリを開き直してください。それでも届かない場合は、ご購入日時を添えて下記までご連絡ください。返金は Apple 又は Google の定める手続きによります（App Store の「問題を報告する」、又は Google Play の購入履歴から申請できます）。 First, reopen the app. If the tapes still have not arrived, contact us with the date and time of purchase. Refunds follow the procedures of Apple or Google (you can request one from "Report a Problem" on the App Store, or from your purchase history on Google Play).

Q. 別のアプリに切り替えると画面がぼやける・ロゴだけになる

アプリが前面にないときは、アプリの切り替え画面などに内容が映らないよう、画面をぼかしています（Android ではアプリのロゴで覆います）。 When the app is not in the foreground it blurs its screen (on Android, it covers it with the app's logo), so nothing shows in places such as the app switcher.

Q. 映像は外部に送信されますか？

The only thing that leaves your device is a tape you choose to hand to someone nearby, and it goes directly to their device. See the privacy policy for details.

Q. 利用規約はありますか？

App Store から入手した本アプリには、Apple の標準使用許諾契約（EULA）が適用されます。Google Play から入手した本アプリには、独自の利用規約を設けていません。 Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA) applies to the app obtained from the App Store. The app obtained from Google Play has no terms of use of its own.
